We have photographed and filmed several events at 1 Hotel Melbourne,
including an AHRI awards night, a Roads Australia lunch, and an Audi
graduation ceremony. It's become one of our regular venues.
1 Hotel Melbourne is at 9 Maritime Place on the river, inside the
heritage Goods Shed. Every event space is named after native Victorian
flora. The building runs a certified zero-waste program and cuts
single-use plastics from every event.

The Seafarers Ballroom is the largest space, at 1,000m² with 10-metre
ceilings, holding up to 900 guests. Seafarers Set is the space we've
used most — 614m², river views on three sides, capacity up to 600. For
smaller events, Seafarers Rise, Bracken and the Paperbark Boardroom suit
corporate functions and awards nights.
The biggest advantage for photography and video is the natural light —
floor-to-ceiling windows and greenery in every room.
