Transport Australia is one of our longest-standing clients, and events like this — a focused industry lunch rather than a full-scale conference — are exactly where good event photography earns its keep. With a ministerial keynote in the room, coverage needs to work on two levels: capturing the formal moments (the Minister's address, key handshakes and introductions) while still getting the natural energy of the networking around it.
W Melbourne's interiors gave us a lot to work with — bold design, strong natural light through Flinders Lane, a room that photographs well without needing much extra work to make it look good. That's not always the case with corporate venues, and it made a real difference to the final gallery.
